We aim to serve women with addiction issues. All these women have overlapping characteristics and problems. Substance addictions are primary addictions, secondary are compulsive behavioural addictions. That means these addictions are treated in this order.
You cannot work on relationship addiction, co-addiction, sex addiction or co-dependency when you are still in active substance abuse or suffering from an eating disorder. When you are abstinent from substances and eating disorders, there is room to feel, heal and get in touch with your inner voice.
Relationship addiction and eating disorders are addictions that are mainly suffered by woman, stemming from cultural and biological factors. Men are inclined to avoid pain by focusing on outward activities such as work and hobbies. Women focus on the relationship and more often than not with a partner that is just as damaged and hard to reach as themselves. In our opinion a woman can best help other women as they can identify with each other.
